St Lawrence Open for prayer

St Lawrence Church will be open:

Tuesday mornings between 09.00 and 10.30

Thursday evenings between 18.30 and 20.00.

Everyone is welcome to come into Church to take time to pray and reflect quietly and to enjoy the peace of our sacred building. It will be possible to light a candle as well during your visit, should you wish to.
The prayer sessions will be supervised at all times by volunteers, who will provide support and guidance to visitors as well as ensuring that physical distancing and hygiene requirements are adhered to.
We have established a one-way system and people will enter through the main door and leave via the vestry door.
The area for private prayer is at the top of the nave and signage is in place to direct people via a one way system to the designated seating area. There is a seating capacity of seven and if this is reached at any stage, then you will be asked to wait until there is space.
Everyone will be expected to sanitise their hands upon entry and again on departure as we want to ensure the building remains as safe as possible for visitors.
As it will not be possible to use the bibles in Church, we ask that people bring their own bibles as necessary.
Those of you who have been advised to shield at this time should continue to follow NHS advice and government guidelines.
